BANKING CHOICE CANADA

Privacy policy

What this website processes, how its local tools work, and what changes when you follow an external link.

Scope and responsibility

This policy covers the Banking Choice Canada website. It describes the current implementation, not the privacy practices of banks or external services. Publisher identity and contact information are shown on the contact page; use that channel for privacy questions.

Browsing and hosting

When you visit, the hosting infrastructure receives technical request information, which may include your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Hosting and security services may process logs to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect the service. Requests may be processed outside your country. Infrastructure log retention and access depend on the hosting provider's settings and policies; we do not state a fixed retention period that has not been verified.

Public advertising URLs may contain campaign parameters or a Microsoft click identifier. Such parameters can appear in the requested URL and hosting logs even though the website does not store or analyze them in its application code.

Search, comparison and calculator

Bank searches, filter choices, account selections and calculator inputs are handled in your browser. This website's code does not send those inputs to a server, save them to browser storage or use them to build a visitor profile. Reloading the page resets the tools.

Cookies, analytics and advertising tags

The current site code does not set cookies, use local storage or install analytics, Microsoft UET, remarketing pixels or advertising trackers. It serves its styles and scripts from the same origin and does not request external fonts. Infrastructure services may use their own technical mechanisms where needed to provide or secure access.

If analytics or advertising measurement is introduced, this policy must describe the actual data, purposes, recipients and retention. Where required, consent must be obtained before optional tracking is activated, with a way to refuse and withdraw it. No tracking consent is being requested for an absent tag.

External links

Official providers and reference sites have their own privacy practices. Following a link opens their website; they can receive normal browser and network request data. Our outbound links request that the browser not send a referrer. Check the destination's policy before submitting personal information.

Contact messages

This edition has no website contact form. Email sent to [email protected] is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to the publisher's Microsoft Outlook mailbox. These services process the message content and routing metadata to deliver it. Your own email provider also processes your message. Send only the details needed for your enquiry. Do not send sensitive financial information. Keep your message limited to what is needed. Do not use email to submit bank applications or financial documents.

Questions and rights

Use the publisher contact channel for questions or requests about personal information. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion or to raise a concern with a privacy authority. We may ask for information reasonably needed to identify the relevant correspondence, but never for a bank password or login code.

Changes

We update this page when the site's actual data practices change. Its update date appears above. Introducing a contact form, affiliate network or tracking tag requires a new review.
