Our purpose
Banking Choice Canada is a website for comparing selected Canadian everyday banking accounts. The goal is to help you ask better questions about account costs and access before visiting a provider.
This website is a comparison publication. It is not a bank, credit union, broker, lender, deposit-taking institution or government agency. We do not provide personalized financial advice or represent the listed providers.
What is included
The first edition compares three online banking accounts: EQ Bank, Simplii Financial and Tangerine. The list is deliberately limited and does not cover all Canadian banks, credit unions, provinces, customer circumstances or account types.
Who makes account decisions?
The provider controls eligibility, pricing, account approval and service availability. We cannot open an account, resolve a bank transaction or change a provider's terms. Never send us a bank password, card number or verification code.
